Long before the Pevensie's, back when the White Witch ruled all, there was a prophecy. Each King or Queen would have a Protector, person whom must hold a pure and just heart.
Now, a new one is needed to serve beside his or her's ruler.
Yukiya Kurai anticipated a dull stay, at Professor Diggory Kirke's home amidst the second world war, with bombing's a constant threat. And it was, until The Pevensie's tumbled through a wardrobe proclaiming to have visited a magical world.
He immediate brushed it off, as their imaginations for their are no other worlds.
In The War of Deliverance Arc, Yukiya found himself whisked away into the very land he so scoffed at and, where he happened upon Prince Caspian, a young Telmarine run away prince.
It is here, Yukiya learns of his role but he has doubt of his skills.
Caspian would be his instructor how to fight.
A bond had formed between the two.
After the defeat of Miraz, he is given the choice to stay in Narnia and protect its new king. Yukiya makes the heart-breaking decision to stay, with the promise he will see his friends again one day and his family.
